This is a working draft of the Money Sentinel privacy policy. Final language will be reviewed by counsel before launch. It describes, in plain terms, what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you subscribe to the free daily alert or a paid plan — so we can send you the alerts you asked for.
- Basic usage data (e.g. which alerts were opened) to improve the publication.
- Billing details for paid subscribers, handled by our payment processor — we don't store card numbers.
What we don't collect
We do not ask for, ingest, or store your portfolio, holdings, net worth, risk tolerance, or any other detail about your personal financial situation. Money Sentinel is an impersonal publication; we have no need for that information and deliberately don't gather it.
How we use it
Only to deliver the alerts and operate the service. We do not sell your personal information. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email, and request deletion of your data by contacting us.
Data sources
The financial information we publish comes entirely from public filings on SEC EDGAR. That data is about public companies, not about you.
